Who am I

I am Timothy B. Brown. I am an Instructor of Software Development at Maryville University.

Prior to coming to Maryville University, I was a professional software developer for 35 years. My professional background is mostly in developing software for scientific research applications (e.g. psychology, psychophysiology, and neuroscience) with a little bit of financial applications thrown in (e.g. stock options trading).

I also was the Principal Software Developer, Business Manager, and eventually President for a company called Bio-Behavior Analysis Systems which was originally founded by my business partner, John A. Stern.

I have a B.Sc. in Mathematics from Butler University and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis.

My full CV is available here.
